A Corner of the Ocean - Jammy Voo - Chulmleigh

19:30 Friday 26 March 2010

A man mysteriously disappears in a diving accident. The story of the investigation strangely touches four women in their different corners of the world. From the depths of their lives begin to surface the many people they could have been, the risks they didn’t take, the strangers they didn’t love, the fears they daren’t confront and the dreams of others that begin seeping into their own.

Devon-based Jammy Voo bring their trademark blend of female clowning, puppetry and live musical accompaniment with a capella singing to their brand new show A Corner of The Ocean, taking a darkly comic look at our everyday struggles to keep a head above the water.

Following a national tour of their 2007 hit show, Something Blue, Jammy Voo are back with their beautiful, unusual and often hilarious take on the world.  We are delighted to have supported the making of this performance at Beaford Arts and look forward to welcoming them to North Devon for the premiere performances before the company head to Edinburgh Fringe 2010.
